Is it possible to lose fat while doing strength training?

well.. what im really asking is, if u do muscle training, will it burn fat.. or just have the fat pile up over the muscles and make u look even chunkier.

Burning fat happens when you burn more calories than you take it. Weight training doesn’t magically burn fat, but it does burn some calories. If your daily calorie intake is less than you burn, then you will lose some fat.

Sure if you get your heart rate a going. Your target heart rate is 220-your age. So subtract your age from 220 and you will have what your heart rate should be while working out. Also throw in some Cardio in with the strength training to maximize your results.The average person burns 2000 calories a day. cut back the calories from that and exercise and you will burn up that fat in no time.
